Southern Chandler resident and award-winning real estate entrepreneur Michael Pollack knew at a tender age which direction his life would take. The son of a California apartment builder, he began accompanying his father to jobsites when he was "just a bitty kid."
"I think I was the only child who ever gave a report to his third=grade class on how to read and interpret working blueprints," he recalls. "The minute I got out of high school I started building houses."
After his first project in 1973, Pollack went on to develop and redevelop more than 10,000 single- and multi-family units in California. By 1986 he had accomplished his professional goals, and he "sold out of the apartment business and retired."
